a self-rescue session!

We’ll focus on the paddlefloat--understanding what it's for and practicing its use will keep you more of an asset to yourself and your group.

While getting ready, everyone should grab a tow belt and a bilge pump: some will anchor, all will bilge.

We’ll stage at Bushwick Inlet. Although each person chooses how far to push it, immersion is a planned part--dress for it!

This is a complimentary session! From 6pm-930pm, as much as your being allows, all your statements, feedback, and remarks should be compliments! They may have a gooey critical center, but must be framed, overall, in crunchy, positive praise. E.g.s:

Pure: "It shows how much you practice, how well you performed that maneuver."

Supportive: "That capsize was fantastic, it must've been on purpose!"

Ambiguous: "Although you'd look amazing in a cast, please paddle away from that ferry."

No shows are a no-no :)

Also, please the consider the wait-list. Send that cancellation note with enough time for someone to be able to claim your spot.

For post-trip chilling by the fire, feel free to coordinate drinks+food beforehand.

As always, if anyone's interested in assistant TL role, working toward TL status, let me/us know :)

See ya!
