Rescue:
Let’s work on an assisted rescue for this one: we’ll focus on the boat-over-boat (T-rescue), and go over the finer details.
We’ll stage at Bushwick Inlet.
By breaking down the mechanics of the t-rescue*, you’ll be more of an asset to anyone you paddle with: better at performing one, or knowing how to assist while being rescued.
Everyone will have the opportunity to perform the t-rescue more than once, and also practice anchoring an ongoing rescue (i.e., make sure the rescue doesn't get worse).
For those who want to be rescued (encouraged, not required), dress for immersion.
