We will paddle over to Governor's Island next Sunday June 4th and check out the World Ocean Festival as well as Figment..
Due to involved third party schedules and a high likeliness for windy/choppy conditions this is an ADVANCED ONLY Kayak AND Canoe trip.
As of Saturday night wind and weather conditions look good through 4pm Sunday - with a 25% chance of minor precipitation on the way back to the boathouse.
10:00 - Meet at boatyard
10:30- Get in boats
12:30 - Wave to boats at Governor's Island
1:00 - Land at pier 101 to check out events
5:00 - Leave Governors Island
6:30 - Back at NBBC boathouse.
Please bring drinking water, some money and a change of dry clothing (...dress for uncertain weather).
