Part two, where we'll finish out hat.

Knit a traditional style watch cap to keep or to donate to NBBC trip Leaders for rescue & hypothermia prevention. Or bring your own project and hang out with us hat knitters.

On the East River temps can stay chilly through the end of Spring,  especially after sunset.

Hat lesson is from 12:30 - 2

In this two part workshop you will learn to knit a hat in the round. Using DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES.

You need you'll need to know how to knit & purl.

Part 1: Cast on, join in the round, rib stitch for the brim & body.
Part 2: Crown decreases & finishing. Making a pompom is optional.

Dress to sit by outdoors by the barrel stove. If very cold we will move to the Box Hotel Bar across the street.
