Don't let your kayak drift off because you used a bad knot to tie it off. There are thousands of knots, but you only need a few for kayaking.
Square Knot or Reef Knot - a basic all purpose knot, and why it's better than a Granny Knot
Bowline - to securely attach a painter line (many call this a bow line) to their kayak
Half Hitch - Basic knot
Clove hitch - to tie your boat to a pole, tree, railing, etc
Chain Coiling - to shorten Towline
Cleat Hitch - tie your kayak to the dock.
Lark's Foot - attach whistle to pfd
Double Fisherman - attach two ropes together
