CANOE: Bushwick Inlet: FLOTSAM AND FIRE

Bushwick Inlet-bound, we'll paddle among night flotsam on an ebbing current. We'll break for tea and hot bread before catching the flood back home for fire and fellowship.

The season is ending, and rituals seem appropriate; feel free to bring any scraps of paper you'd like to burn in the fire.

Trip Leader: Ros

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner (must have attended at least 2 Skills and Drills classes this season or equivalent)

We will be traveling in canoes – which means all attendees should be prepared for physical activity. Dress for cool weather - no cotton! If you need to borrow gear, let me know.

A bottle of water is recommended and small snack is also not a bad idea. We can lock any belongings you bring to the boatyard in the containers while we are out. We request that everyone who joins us is able to swim and fill out a waiver of liability.
