City Lights paddle to DUMBO -- and farther if we feel like it (within reason).
The City Lights paddle series, well established and after a brief respite, continues this week as we head to DUMBO! We’ll travel west on the East River down to Brooklyn Bridge Park. There is a small landing for human-powered craft between Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. If time allows, we can get out and grab a bite at Shake Shack. I will stay in the water with all the canoes because that is where I want to be. If "you hungry" or like the feeling of getting out of a canoe in foreign lands, then go ashore.
Dress for paddling! There may be a beach landing, so wear shoes you don't mind getting wet. Bring water and maybe something warm to change into back on land.
Bring a snack if you want to. A Shake Shack run is possible if the timing works out, but nothing is guaranteed in this life.
