A fast trip down to DUMBO to get caffeinated for a energy filled paddle back. DUMBO has many coffee houses including Brooklyn Roasting Co, that roasts it's own.
Be ready for fast currents and a beach landing with potential for big waves crashing you into the shore.
One person will stay with the boats while the all have an hour to grab a latte, espresso or the "cup o java" at any of the many options.
