Would you like to volunteer as a Trip Assistant?
If you can prep yourself, get in & out of your kayak unassisted and know the basic paddle strokes you are well on your way to assisting

Trip Assistants can often join trips which are already full, have many opportunities to practice and improve their skills and you will be helping out a wonderful organization.
We'll review the skills, as well as learn towing and the Marine Radio.
If time allows, we will do assessment for qualifying paddlers or assessments may be scheduled at a future date.
You must be familiar with a wet exit, be able to paddle a decked kayak and know basic paddle strokes to attend this.
