This will be a strenuous sunset paddle for the solidly intermediate paddler: We will cross into a full blown ebb current to visit the Cormorants of UThant island, then keep moving up along Rosevelt Island/WEST channel until we've had enough... Return via cross over to Hunters point.

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED MEMBER paddles are generally NOT for new members nor for prior members whose skill level have yet to be assessed and confirmed by one of our NBBC trip leaders. This is particularly true for my weeknight Sunset Paddles which adhere to a tight launch schedule. You must be familiar with our facilities and equipment, have previously graduated from NBBC's BEGINNER trips, participated in skill building paddles - or be assessed PRIOR to this trip by an NBBC trip leader.
