Paddle to City of Water: Intermediate-Advanced
City of Water Day is July 16th!
Paddle down to Governor's Island, spend the day enjoying special events with the paddling community, then camp overnight on the island.
Camping on the island is reserved for paddlers only on this one day of the year, so come be a part of this very rare opportunity!
Paddlers who wish to participate in the event will need to be approved by a NBBC canoe trip leader; time permitting you may be asked to join a qualifying paddle prior to the trip. You'll need to demonstrate the skills and stamina necessary to make a safe passage to and from the island. As we have done in previous years, we will collect $15 dollars per person pay for communal meals (Dinner & Breakfast)
