Our trip begins just as the river starts to flood, so we'll be paddling against a slowly turning current going out (but with it, on our return). Based on the overall conditions and skill sets of our participants, we will paddle to the Navy Yard and beyond. Along the way we will learn how to efficiently paddle against the current and watch the sunset behind Manhattan's skyline.
