Let's head down to the Brooklyn Bridge. This is a standard NBCB canoe trip and a great way to get the hang of our trips. There's some heart-pounding excitement as we dodge ferries and bounce across the chop rounding the corner of Manhatta, but then we can hang out for a while in a cove down by the bridge before coming home.
Bring a snack if you want!
Remember to dress for water: noncotton clothes and shoes you can get wet .
If you are on the waitlist, don't worry. I will admit more people as skilled stern paddlers sign up.
