A relaxed morning paddle around Roosevelt Island. We'll paddle clockwise and stop at Hallets Cove for a snack break without getting out.
The water is still chilly and so are the morning temps. You must be dressed appropriately to join
NO COTTON. Wear quick dry, with a light insulation layer underneath. Strongly suggest a drytop or paddle top and dry pants with neoprene booties or wool socks. Wet suit or a neoprene type top strongly encouraged. Did I mention no cotton?
BRING A HAT, you may get chilly.
Please check your email as rain or CSO may cancel. If there is a heavy rain after 2 am Monday morning, the trip is most likely cancelled. But, we may not call it until we walk to the water and see.
