Lunch is blowing up!

In 1885, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers used 300,000 lbs. of explosives to detonate Flood Rock, part of the clearing of Hell Gate. The explosion was felt as far away as Princeton, NJ.

To that effort we owe Hallets Cove, where we will land in order to secure luncheon from the COSTCO Snack Bar! The future is now!

Meet: 10:15 AM

Launch/Gate Locked: 10:30

Slack to Ebb: 11:52

Return/Clean Up/Digest/Chillax: 2:00 PM

The weather is turning cool! Fall is in the air! And in the water! Remember to dress appropriately. Wear layers. Avoid cotton! And this will involve a beach landing, so bring dry shoes to change into!

For more on what to wear and bring, see the website.
