Rescue:

Let’s work on an assisted rescue for this one: we’ll focus on the boat-over-boat (T-rescue).

We’ll head southbound against a lightly emerging flood and stage at Bushwick Inlet.

By breaking down the mechanics of the t-rescue*, you’ll be more of an asset to anyone you paddle with: better at performing one or knowing how to assist while being rescued.

Everyone will have the opportunity to perform the t-rescue more than once, and also practice anchoring an ongoing rescue. For those who want to be rescued (encouraged, not required), dress for immersion.
